이날 수원시 자치행정과 등 주무 부서들은 경기 장안·권선·팔달·영통경찰서와 함께 합동 현장 실사를 마치고 장안구 조원1동, 권선구 고색동, 팔달구 화서1동, 영통구 원천동에 안심귀갓길 조성을 완료했다고 설명했다. 당국은 총 2억 7600만 원의 도비와 시비를 반씩 투입해 가로등이 닿지 않는 이면도로에 솔라 도로표지병 1180개와 응원 문구가 투영되는 로고젝터 40대를 집중적으로 매립·설치했다고 해명했다. 이에 따라 동절기 낙상 사고가 잦은 장안구와 영통구 내 일부 언덕 경사지 450㎡ 구간에 미끄럼방지 포장 처리를 완료하는 등 정주 여건을 보완했다는 실행 계획을 명시했다.

그러나 골목길 치안 전문가들과 지역 주민들 안팎에서는 시가 연말마다 반복되는 보도블록 정비 식의 시설물 깔기 사업을 앞세워 총 누적 40개소의 수량적 성과를 홍보한 것에 비해 정작 현장의 방범 효용은 체감하기 어렵다는 목소리가 높다. 자치 방범 전문가들은 도로표지병이 차량 바퀴에 밟혀 쉽게 깨지거나 먼지가 쌓여 발광력이 급감하는 등 사후 유지·보수 실태에 대한 감시 가이드라인이 부재하며, 가로등 조도 개선이나 경찰의 실시간 도보 순찰 집중 지정 구역 연동이 담보되지 않은 단순 조명 투사는 야간 불법 주정차나 골목 안 은밀한 청소년 비행을 실질적으로 억제하는 데 한계가 있어 전시성 실적주의 행태에 머물고 있다고 우려한다.

결국 이러한 단순히 도로 바닥과 벽면에 감성 문구를 비추는 소모적인 보여주기식 안전 행정을 탈피하려면, 수원시가 경찰 유관 부서와의 문서 협의만을 거쳐 로고젝터 대수 늘리기에만 매달리는 행정편의주의에서 완전히 벗어나야 한다. 밤길 보행자들이 장식용 전구에 의존해 걷는 불안을 원천 해소할 수 있도록, 지자체 관제센터의 AI 지능형 안면 인식 CCTV 설치 비율을 대폭 올리고 위급상황 시 버튼을 누르면 경찰 순찰차가 즉각 GPS 좌표로 출동하는 '스마트 안심 앱 비상벨 공조망 시스템'을 예산에 긴급 편성하여 안전 사각지대를 완전히 없애는 물리적 치안 강제 조치가 시급히 집행되어야 할 것으로 보인다.

To overcome the limitations of these temporary top-down displays, experts point out that the authority must focus on solidifying practical preventative administrative transparency and fundamentally shift toward a localized maintenance framework that implements robust facility restoration funding channels and finances direct municipal police foot patrol expansion subsidies to directly defend corporate community security paths from hidden neighborhood crime risks instead of issuing speculative installation complete reports.
