Jeju City Kkum-Deureim and J-Cock Badminton Center Join Forces to Support Out-of-School Youth
MOU Signed and Daily Necessities Donated Promising Continued Cooperation in Physical Activities and Career Experience
[Jeju/CTN] Reporter Keum-hyeon Ga = The Jeju City Out-of-School Youth Support Center (Director Jin-beom Choi, hereinafter Jeju City Kkum-Deureim) and J-Cock Badminton Center (CEO Sun-beom Park) have joined hands to promote the healthy growth and welfare of out-of-school youth, as reported by Keum-hyeon Ga, a reporter for CTN, South Korea's leading internet newspaper.
Jeju City Kkum-Deureim recently announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with J-Cock Badminton Center and received donations of daily necessities for out-of-school youth.
The agreement and donation were arranged to support the stable daily lives of out-of-school youth who may fall into welfare blind spots and to convey the warm concern of the local community.
The donated supplies will be distributed sequentially to youth in the district who are in need. Starting with this donation, the two organizations plan to establish a close cooperation system to provide physical activity programs to improve youth health and offer various career experience opportunities.
Sun-beom Park, CEO of J-Cock Badminton Center, stated, "I decided to sponsor this cause with the hope of providing even a little bit of strength so that out-of-school youth can grow into proud members of our society. We will continue to provide interest and support beyond a one-time donation."
In response, an official from Jeju City Kkum-Deureim said, "We are deeply grateful to J-Cock Badminton Center for practicing such warm sharing and interest. Through this agreement, we will strive to ensure that various experiences and support continue for out-of-school youth."
Meanwhile, Jeju City Kkum-Deureim, which is commissioned by Jeju City and operated by the Jeju Catholic Children and Youth Association (Foundation), provides various customized services for out-of-school youth aged 9 to 24, including counseling, education, independence support, career experience and training linkage, self-development activities, health check-ups, meal support, and college admission guidance. Participation and inquiries can be made through the center's phone or official Instagram (@kdream_jejusi).
