[사회/CTN]임종복 기자 = 소주가씨종친회(회장 가국진)와 2충1효문화연구원(이사장 가갑손)은 5월 29일(음력 4월 13일) 충남 보령시 호국사에서 봉행된 '임란공신추모제'에 참석했다.

이날 추모제에는 가국진 종친회장을 비롯해 가재군 전 회장, 가세현 부회장, 가수현 이사, 그리고 2충1효문화연구원 가금현 사무총장이 소주가씨 문중을 대표해 참석 자리를 빛냈다.

보령 호국사는 임진왜란 당시 나라를 구하기 위해 목숨을 바친 임란공신 400여 명의 위패가 모셔져 있는 곳으로, 매년 임진왜란이 발발한 음력 4월 13일을 기해 전국의 공신 후손들이 모여 추모제를 봉행하고 있다.

특히 호국사에는 '2충1효' 정신의 뿌리이자 소주가씨 중시조 3대인 가유약, 가상, 가침 선생의 위패가 함께 봉안되어 있어, 타 가문으로부터 깊은 존경과 부러움을 사고 있다.

임진왜란 당시 위국헌신한 공신들의 숭고한 넋을 기리기 위해 마련된 이번 추모제에서 참석자들은 선조들의 호국정신과 충의를 되새기며 엄숙한 분위기 속에서 헌화와 분향을 진행했다.

가국진 종친회장은 "임란공신들의 고귀한 희생과 애국정신은 오늘날 우리가 반드시 계승해야 할 소중한 가치"라며 "앞으로도 문중 차원에서 이러한 뜻깊은 추모 행사에 적극 동참하고 선조들의 정신을 선양하는 데 앞장서겠다"고 했다.

이어 가금현 2충1효문화연구원 사무총장은 "소주가씨 문중은 역사적으로 충(忠)과 효(孝)의 정신을 깊이 실천해 온 자부심이 있다"며 "전통문화와 호국정신을 후대에 올바르게 전하기 위해 연구원 차원에서도 다양한 문화적·학술적 노력을 이어가겠다"고 밝혔다.

Organized to honor the noble souls of the patriots who dedicated their lives to the nation, the attendees at the memorial service reflected on the patriotic spirit and loyalty of their ancestors, proceeding with the offering of flowers and incense in a solemn atmosphere.
Clan Association Chairman Ga Guk-jin remarked, "The noble sacrifice and patriotism of the Imjin War heroes are precious values that we must inherit today. The clan will continue to actively participate in these meaningful memorial events and take the lead in honoring and promoting our ancestors' spirit."
Following this, Ga Geum-hyun, Secretary-General of the 2-Chung 1-Hyo Cultural Institute, stated, "The Soju Ga clan takes great pride in historically practicing the deep values of loyalty (Chung) and filial piety (Hyo). To properly pass down our traditional culture and patriotic spirit to future generations, the institute will continue to make various cultural and academic efforts."
