[사회/CTN]가금현 기자 =한국농어촌공사 서산태안지사(지사장 이순보)가 지난 13일 서산 풍전저수지에서 쾌적한 수변 환경 조성을 위한 환경정화활동을 펼쳤다.

이번 활동은 풍전저수지 일원의 환경 개선과 수질보전을 목적으로 마련됐다.

특히 서산 양우내안애 아파트 주민단체 회원 15명이 자발적으로 동참해 민·관이 함께 지역 환경을 가꾸는 협력형 환경보전 활동으로 진행돼 의미를 더했다.

이날 참가자들은 저수지 주변에 버려진 쓰레기와 부유물을 수거하는 등 현장 중심의 정화활동에 집중했다.

아울러 수질 및 수변환경 개선이 지역 주민들의 삶의 질 향상과 직결된다는 점을 서로 공유하며 환경보호의 중요성을 되새겼다.

이순보 지사장은 "농촌지역의 수질환경 보전은 주민 생활환경 개선과 지속가능한 농업 기반 조성을 위한 중요한 과제"라며 "앞으로도 지역주민 및 유관기관과 협력해 깨끗하고 안전한 농업용수를 안정적으로 공급할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다"고 강조했다.

한편, 서산태안지사는 앞으로도 지역 주민이 직접 동참하는 참여형 환경보전활동을 지속적으로 확대할 방침이다.

이와 함께 농업용수 수질 개선과 철저한 수자원 관리를 위한 다각적인 활동을 이어갈 계획이다.

Meanwhile, the Seosan-Taean Branch plans to continuously expand participatory environmental conservation activities involving local residents. Along with this, they intend to promote various initiatives to improve the quality of agricultural water and strengthen water resource management.
