시는 지난 13일 임신부들의 건강한 출산과 행복한 육아 준비를 돕기 위한 The 행복한 아기를 위한 오감발달 육아법 교실을 성황리에 마치고 수료식을 진행했다고 밝혔다. 이번 프로그램은 출산을 앞둔 초보 부모들이 직면할 수 있는 다양한 육아 현안을 해결하기 위해 총 5회에 걸친 집중 커리큘럼으로 추진됐다.
교육 내용은 이론을 넘어 현장에서 즉각 활용 가능한 체험형 과업들로 채워졌다. 참가자들은 신생아 돌봄의 기초부터 수면 교육, 모유 수유법, 베이비마사지 기술을 체득했으며, 아기의 감각을 자극하는 쪽쪽이 클립 만들기 등 오감 발달 활동을 직접 수행했다. 특히 산전 관리의 핵심인 유방 건강 상태를 전문가와 함께 직접 확인하는 시간을 배정해 모유 수유를 준비하는 임신부들에게 실질적이고 과학적인 가이드를 제공했다는 평가를 받았다.
수료식에서는 5주간의 교육 과정을 성실히 이수한 임신부들에게 수료증과 기념품이 전달됐으며, 참가자들은 서로의 육아 정보를 공유하며 정서적 유대감을 쌓는 시간도 가졌다. 이현기 서북구보건소장은 "이번 프로그램이 예비 부모들의 육아 부담을 실질적으로 덜어주고 아이와의 건강한 애착 관계를 형성하는 밑거름이 되었기를 바란다"며 "앞으로도 임신부터 출산, 육아에 이르는 전 과정에 걸쳐 현장이 원하는 지원 프로그램을 지속적으로 운영해 나갈 것"이라고 강조했다.
지방 소멸의 위기 속에서 지자체가 제공하는 세밀한 보육 지원 체계는 지역 사회의 지속 가능성을 결정짓는 핵심 지표다. 천안시가 보여준 이번 체감형 육아 지원 행정이 단순한 교육을 넘어 아이 키우기 좋은 도시라는 브랜드 가치를 공고히 하고, 출산 친화적 문화를 지역 사회 전반에 확산시키는 기폭제가 될 것으로 기대된다.

[Cheonan/CTN] Reporter Kang Hyun-su = A practical parenting education program designed by the Cheonan Seobuk-gu Public Health Center to alleviate the concerns of prospective parents and create a healthy childbirth environment has come to fruition amidst enthusiastic responses from participants.
The city announced on the 13th that it successfully completed the "Five Senses Development Parenting Method for The Happy Baby" class and held a completion ceremony to help pregnant women prepare for healthy childbirth and happy parenting. This program was conducted through an intensive curriculum of five sessions to address various parenting issues that novice parents might face before childbirth.
The educational content went beyond theory and was filled with experiential tasks that could be utilized immediately in the field. Participants mastered the basics of newborn care, sleep education, breastfeeding methods, and baby massage techniques, and directly performed activities to stimulate their babies' senses, such as making pacifier clips. In particular, the program was evaluated as providing practical and scientific guidance to pregnant women preparing for breastfeeding by allocating time to check breast health with experts, a key part of prenatal management.
At the completion ceremony, certificates and souvenirs were presented to the pregnant women who faithfully completed the five-week course, and participants had time to build emotional bonds by sharing parenting information. Lee Hyun-ki, Director of the Seobuk-gu Public Health Center, emphasized, "I hope this program has practically reduced the burden of parenting for prospective parents and served as a foundation for forming a healthy attachment with their children," adding, "We will continue to operate support programs requested by the field throughout the entire process from pregnancy to childbirth and parenting."
In the face of the crisis of local extinction, detailed childcare support systems provided by local governments are key indicators that determine the sustainability of a community. It is expected that the tangible parenting support administration shown by Cheonan City will go beyond simple education to solidify the brand value of being a great city to raise children and serve as a catalyst for spreading a birth-friendly culture throughout the local community.
