천안시청소년재단 천안시청소년수련관은 국가보훈부 공모사업인 지금, 우리가 다시 쓰는 독립의 일환으로 전통 패션 브랜드 리슬(LEESLE)과 협업한 청소년 보훈 프로그램을 본격 추진한다고 14일 밝혔다. 이번 활동은 광복 81주년을 앞두고 독립의 역사적 가치를 청소년의 시각에서 새롭게 조명하기 위해 기획되었으며, 특히 세계적인 그룹 BTS의 장신구 제작으로 명성을 떨친 리슬이 디자인 자문과 제작에 직접 참여해 전문성을 더했다.
프로그램에 참여하는 의상팀 청소년 10명은 지난 9일부터 오는 30일까지 독립유공자 헌정용 자수 모자와 훈장, 견장 등 상징적인 장식 소품을 직접 제작하는 실무 과정을 거친다. 이와 함께 안무팀은 완성된 의상과 소품을 활용해 독립을 주제로 한 창작 안무 공연을 준비하며, 역동적인 퍼포먼스를 통해 독립의 메시지를 지역사회에 전달할 계획이다.

[Cheonan/CTN] Reporter Kang Hyun-su = Youth in Cheonan are opening new horizons for patriotism by reinterpreting the meaning of independence through the language of modern fashion and art.
The Cheonan Youth Foundation's Cheonan Youth Center announced on the 14th that it is promoting a youth veterans program in collaboration with the traditional fashion brand ‘LEESLE’ as part of the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs' project, ‘Now, We Rewrite Independence Again.’ This initiative was designed to shed new light on the historical value of independence from a youth perspective ahead of the 81st Liberation Day. Notably, LEESLE, renowned for creating accessories for the global group BTS, is directly participating in design consultation and production, adding professional expertise.
Ten youth members of the costume team have been undergoing a practical process since last May 9th, which will continue until the 30th, to create symbolic decorative items such as embroidered hats, medals, and epaulettes dedicated to independence activists. Meanwhile, the choreography team is preparing a creative dance performance themed on independence using the completed costumes and props, planning to deliver the message of independence to the local community through a dynamic performance.
The final results, filled with the passion of the youth, will be officially released to the public through exhibitions and performances in August. Kim Eung-il, Acting CEO of the Cheonan Youth Foundation, emphasized, "I hope this serves as a precious opportunity for youth to naturally empathize with the values of veterans and directly experience and reflect on historical meaning and patriotism."
