시는 대한제과협회 천안시지부가 주최·주관하는 2026 빵지순례 빵빵데이 축제를 앞두고, 오는 21일부터 27일까지 일주일간 공식 홈페이지를 통해 남녀노소 누구나 직접 빵을 구워볼 수 있는 베이킹 체험 프로그램 참가 신청을 대대적으로 접수한다고 밝혔다.

올해로 회를 거듭하며 중부권 최고의 로컬 미식 브랜드로 안착한 빵빵데이 축제는 내달 13일부터 14일까지 이틀간 천안시 전역에서 개최된다. 축제 기간 동안 천안 관내 곳곳의 참여 제과업소들은 일제히 빵류 제품을 최소 10% 이상 파격 할인 판매하고, 매장을 찾는 방문객들에게 선착순으로 풍성한 증정품을 제공하는 등 거대한 도시형 빵지순례 붐을 조성할 계획이다.

축제 첫날인 내달 13일 단 하루 동안 집중 전개되는 베이킹 체험 프로그램은 천안의 역사적 상징성을 담은 ‘명물 호두과자 만들기’(72팀)와 아이들과 함께 감성 가득한 추억을 쌓을 수 있는 ‘화분케이크 만들기’(90팀) 등 총 2개 코스로 정교하게 기획됐으며, 전국의 신청자 중 총 162팀을 정예 선발한다.

신청 자격은 성인(만 18세 이상) 팀장을 필수 포함해 가족, 연인, 친구 등 최소 2명에서 최대 4명까지 자유롭게 팀을 구성하면 대한민국 국민 누구나 제한 없이 도전할 수 있다. 참가를 희망하는 시민과 관광객은 천안시 빵빵데이 공식 홈페이지 내 ‘커뮤니티-체험단 모집’ 메뉴에 접속해 간단한 로그인 후 신청서를 제출하면 된다. 특히 이번 체험의 참가 비용은 공공 복지 차원에서 전액 무료로 진행되며, 공정한 기회 제공을 위해 무작위 컴퓨터 추첨 방식으로 최종 대상자를 선정해 내달 1일 홈페이지 게시 및 개별 문자로 통보할 예정이다.

The Bangbang Day festival, which has successfully settled as the central region's top local gourmet brand over the years, will be held throughout Cheonan City for two days from June 13 to 14. During the festival period, participating bakeries across Cheonan will simultaneously offer a substantial 10% discount on bakery products and provide abundant giveaway gifts to visitors on a first-come, first-served basis, creating a massive urban bread pilgrimage boom.
