[천안/CTN]강현수 기자 = 천안시가 때 이른 무더위와 찾아온 나들이 철을 맞아 70만 시민들에게 도심 속 시원한 청량감을 선사하고 쾌적한 힐링 공간을 제공하기 위해 관내 주요 공원의 분수시설을 본격 가동한다.

시는 시민들의 정서적 휴식 주권을 보장하고 아름다운 도시 경관을 연출하기 위해 천안 전역에 분포된 주요 공원 13개소의 분수시설 총 18기를 오는 10월까지 전격 운영한다고 21일 밝혔다. 이번 가동 조치는 기온 상승에 따른 시민들의 야외 활동 수요를 선제적으로 수용하고, 도심 열섬 현상을 완화하기 위해 방재 및 환경적 측면을 모두 고려해 추진됐다.

분수시설은 시민들의 라이프스타일과 이용 패턴에 맞춰 일반 분수, 경관조명 분수, 음악분수 등 총 3가지 유형으로 정교하게 분류되어 운영된다. 세부 운영 시간체계를 살펴보면 일상 속 시원한 물줄기를 뿜어내는 '일반 분수'는 매주 정오(오후 12시)부터 오후 8시까지 가동된다. 야간 도심의 야경을 수려하게 수놓을 '경관조명 분수'는 오후 1시부터 오후 9시까지 불을 밝힌다.

아울러 화려한 선율과 물줄기가 어우러지는 축제형 '음악분수'는 시민들의 방문이 가장 집중되는 점심 시간대(오후 12시~1시)와 은은한 밤 정취를 즐기는 저녁 시간대(오후 8시~9시)로 나누어 하루 총 2회 집중 운영된다. 모든 분수시설은 기계 과부하 방지와 에너지 절약을 위해 매시 30분 동안 역동적으로 가동된 후 30분간 정지하는 징검다리 형태로 회전하며, 당일 기상 상황이나 현장 에너지 여건에 따라 탄력적으로 조정될 예정이다.

시민들이 일상 속에서 손쉽게 청량감을 맛볼 수 있도록 지정된 분수 가동 공간은 천안의 동서남북을 촘촘히 아우른다. 대상지는 하늘맞이 공원, 신방쉼터, 신방통정 원형교차로, 쌍용공원, 성성1지구 근린공원, 청당3공원, 온천중앙공원, 백석산림공원, 노태공원, 불당아름드리공원, 청수2공원, 천호지공원, 삼거리공원 등 총 13개 거점 녹지 공간이다.

시는 많은 시민과 어린이들이 분수대 주변에 밀집할 것으로 예상됨에 따라, 관행적인 대기 행정을 배제하고 시민 안전 안보를 사수하기 위한 고강도 사후 관리 체계를 구축했다. 수경시설 노후화로 인한 오작동이나 수질 오염에 따른 피부질환을 원천 차단하기 위해 매월 정기 및 불시 수시 점검을 단행하고, 정밀 수질 검사와 기계 설비 안정성을 송곳 검증해 쾌적한 수치 제어를 유지할 방침이다.

김주선 천안시 공원관리과장은 "가족, 연인, 이웃과 함께 야외 나들이를 즐기기 좋은 최고의 계절이 찾아온 만큼, 많은 천안시민이 가까운 공원을 방문해 분수가 선사하는 시원한 시각적 즐거움과 행복한 추억을 가득 만드시길 바란다"라며 "천안시는 앞으로도 타성에 젖은 시설 관리를 깨부수고, 언제나 시민들이 안심하고 이용할 수 있는 안전하고 청정한 명품 공원 환경을 조성하기 위해 시정 역량을 집중하겠다"고 말했다.

The city announced on the 21st that to guarantee the emotional relaxation sovereignty of citizens and present beautiful urban landscapes, it will grandly operate a total of 18 fountain facilities located across 13 major parks until upcoming October. The fountain facilities are elaborately categorized into three types according to citizens' lifestyles and usage patterns: general fountains, landscape lighting fountains, and music fountains. Concurrently, the festival-style 'music fountains' harmonizing magnificent melodies with water streams are intensively operated twice a day, divided into lunch peak hours (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM) and evening hours (8:00 PM - 9:00 PM) when citizens' visits pack. To prevent mechanical overload and save energy, overall facilities will run in a stepping-stone format where they operate dynamically for 30 minutes each hour and stop for 30 minutes, which can be flexibly adjusted based on daily weather or on-site energy conditions.

The designated spaces for fountain operations, where citizens can easily taste coolness in daily lives, tightly encompass the east, west, south, and north of Cheonan. The target locations are a total of 13 green strongholds: Haneulmat-i Park, Sinbang Shelter, Sinbang Tongjeong Roundabout, Ssangyong Park, Seongseong 1st District Neighborhood Park, Cheongdang 3 Park, Oncheon Central Park, Baekseok Forest Park, Notae Park, Buldang Areumuri Park, Cheongsu 2 Park, Cheonhoji Park, and Samgeori Park.

Anticipating that a multitude of citizens and children will gather around the fountains, the city rejected conventional waiting administration and built high-intensity follow-up management frameworks to safeguard citizen safety security instead. To fundamentally block skin diseases driven by water pollution or malfunctions from aged facilities, the city will carry out monthly regular and unannounced inspections, pinpointing verifications of water quality testing and mechanical stability to maintain clean values.
