시는 14일 시청 제1소회의실에서 IBK기업은행과 금리 우대 프로그램 업무협약을 체결하고 지역 경제의 실질적인 버팀목이 될 것을 선언했다. 이날 협약식에는 김석필 천안시장 권한대행 부시장과 김상희 IBK기업은행 CIB그룹장 등 주요 관계자들이 참석해 관내 기업들의 경영 자금 확보를 위한 긴밀한 협력을 약속했다.

이번 협약은 천안시가 추진 중인 중소기업 육성자금 이자 지원 사업과 기업은행의 특별지원 프로그램을 하나로 결합한 것이 핵심이다. 현재 천안시가 중소기업 육성자금 대출에 대해 최대 2%의 이자를 지원하는 상황에서 이번 협약을 통해 기업은행을 이용하는 기업은 최대 1%의 금리 감면 혜택을 추가로 보장받게 된다.

결과적으로 해당 기업은 시의 지원과 은행의 자체 감면을 합쳐 최대 3% 수준의 파격적인 금리 우대 혜택을 누릴 수 있게 됐다. 다만 최종적인 적용 금리는 기업은행의 여신 심사와 내부 기준에 따라 최종 결정될 방침이다. 지원 대상과 신청 방법 등 구체적인 세부 사항은 천안시 기업지원 누리집 공고문을 통해 확인할 수 있다.
