[Cheonan/CTN] Reporter Kang Hyun-su = Kim Jae-ho, the Democratic Party of Korea candidate for the 5th constituency of the Chungnam Provincial Assembly (Seonghwan, Seonggeo, Jiksan, Ipjang), completed his candidate registration on the afternoon of the 14th and officially entered the election phase by declaring a vision for a "100-year future food hub" focused on restructuring the industrial system and drastically improving living conditions in Northern Cheonan. Candidate Kim expressed his aspirations, stating that Northern Cheonan is at a golden time to leap forward as a massive heart responsible for the future food of Chungnam and Cheonan.
As a policy and practical talent who majored in food engineering at Kongju National University and served as an advisor for the 6th industry in Chungnam, Candidate Kim noted that he had felt the pain of unreasonable regulations and limits that repeatedly hindered farmers' efforts to create new added value from their carefully grown products. He revealed his strong determination to take that urgency from the field to the provincial council and lower fundamental barriers.
Candidate Kim presented three core visions for the development of the northern region: supporting AI businesses to increase farmers' income, creating a Cheonan landmark on the site of the former stockbreeding farm, and resolving transportation-isolated areas by introducing and expanding "Majung" and rural taxis in the northern region. He plans to make rural areas more vibrant and industries more active based on young passion and practical experience gained in the field.
Vowing to listen to residents with the most humble attitude and leapfrog Northern Cheonan into a hub city for future industries in Chungnam, Candidate Kim is a field expert who has served as a professional instructor at a food HACCP training institution and a spokesperson for the Chungnam Provincial Branch of the Democratic Party. Local political circles are focusing on whether his entry into the provincial assembly, equipped with both practical capabilities and political sense, can serve as a catalyst for breaking down long-standing regulations in Northern Cheonan and breathing practical vitality into the local economy.
